FYI Mobile's business plan was born when its Founder and Managing Director, Ryan Eckowitz was looking to buy his own home. He experienced what a time-consuming and stressful experience it could be and was determined to make the process of searching and researching real estate information a whole lot more convenient - using the personal and handy mobile phone!

When introduced with the capabilities of Gravity's Interactive Video and Voice Response (IVVR) technology, FYI Mobile was impressed with the innovative and high quality video services that Gravity offers. In multiple workshops, the Gravity and FYI teams discussed the objectives and requirements of FYIs business plan, and a detailled solution architecture for a managed service was built containing the following elements:
- Gravity's interactive video calling platform that connects and facilitates video calls between potential property buyers or tenants and the FYI video service;
- An application that records and submits details of the call and caller CLI to FYI Mobile;
- A video-enabled introduction message and an interactive menu structure in which the caller can input a property code;
- A dynamic interactive video advertising service which can play a marketing message before, during or after the property tour is presented;
- A content management system which selects, plays and possibly replays the actual property video(s)
- A SMS notification system, used to send further information to the agent and the caller.

The service also enables property vendors and real estate agents to market their real estate via an entirely new channel, while FYI mobile offers advertisers the unique opportunity to present their marketing messages and campaigns to an extremely targeted audience.
